How LDH and OBH Work for You

The Louisiana Department of Health’s (LDH) Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) supports individuals, families, and communities affected by problem gambling. We are committed to reducing gambling harms and helping people access the care and support they need.

LDH/OBH works with partners across Louisiana to build a strong system of behavioral health services, prevention programs, healthcare, and social supports that promote recovery and resilience for all residents. We make sure services are accessible, family-driven, culturally and clinically appropriate, and delivered in partnership with the communities we serve.

LDH/OBH’s statewide leadership and integrated behavioral health system ensure that prevention, treatment, and recovery support services are high-quality and available to everyone who needs them. From public education and early screening to counseling and long-term recovery support, LDH/OBH remains focused on improving lives, protecting and promoting health, and promoting recovery and resilience for all Louisiana residents.
